Wanted to take a break from my commission.

... so I did a quick drawing this afternoon :).
Portrait of Babes in Toyland's lead singer/guitarist, Kat Bjelland.

Pastel pencils on grey paper.

NOTE : this is just how I draw when I draw quick for fun, so I don't need "constructive criticism" this time :D

nice drawing Pauline! this drawing looks simpier than the normal ones you do, but it does carry good substance and i like the smoky/snowy/misty feel that comes from the hair and the look in her eyes are very intriguing! :)

Really nice. The right eye is a little bit strange, but I know that it's totally in the dark on the ref pic you used, so... Furthermore, on a quid drawing, detail doesn't much matter. I really like everything on your QD, and especially the hair and the light. :)

Hhm sorry don't like it very much if i look at normal work. The proportions are not inline. But the rendering of you skine tone are wonderful. Hope i am not to hars.

This is normal because this is a quick drawing exercise : the purpose is just to draw quick for fun here, not create a masterpiece.
